Lewmar has broken new ground with the introduction of a 10:1 purchase mainsheet block system using the unique lightweight Synchro block technology. The 10:1 was developed initially for the Open 18 Catamaran fleet in France to handle fast precise sail control.

The 10:1 system uses 40mm and 60mm blocks suitable for rope diameters up to 8mm. The system consists of two blocks, a top block consisting of 5 x 40mm blocks on a crucifix head and a base block of 4x 40mm blocks clustered around a 60mm ratchet block.
